Our Approach

At Osprey we value pragmatism. We do not subscribe to a “one-size-fits-all” approach or to dogmatic application of academically rigorous methodologies in every case. Instead, we try to understand our Client’s needs in terms of their own processes and the expectation of the relevant Regulator and other key Stakeholders.  If the project is a modification to an established system where the risks are well understood we will adopt a simple process. If the project is “blue-sky” then we will adopt a formal “output oriented” approach, drawing on best practice Systems Engineering techniques.

This approach has demonstrated its value on numerous occasions where, for example, we have achieved “first of type in UK” Approvals within the required project timescales. We have received praise from Regulators and Customers alike for the quality and clarity of our work.
